Our Beginning

SDG Proposal
Mark Culligan's original ministry proposal

On September 4, 1996, Mark Culligan, Founder and CEO, caught a vision for a large, spiritual renewal center designed and equipped for the restoration of the sexually and relationally challenged. The vision also included the Tampa Bay Alliance for Relational Health, a grand partnership and collaborative effort between businesses, schools, churches and other organizations devoted the healing of hurting people. Click here for more information about the Spiritual Renewal Center.

In 1999, New Hearts Outreach (Tampa) was formed, in partnership with Abe Brown Ministries, to create a support ministry for those whose lives have been impacted by gender identity issues. The ministry provided support groups and one-on-one discipleship, as well as an NHO speaking team. In 2005, we registered as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization named "Soli Deo Gloria" (but doing business as "New Hearts Outreach").
