VISION

On September 4, 1996, Mark Culligan, Founder & CEO, caught a vision for a large, spiritual renewal center designed and equipped for the restoration of the sexually and relationally challenged. The center will include a worship space, residential recovery facilities, a total wellness center, a broadcast center and a fine arts facility center. The vision also included the Tampa Bay Alliance for Relational Health, a grand partnership and collaborative effort between businesses, schools, churches and other organizations devoted to bringing the church and the community together for the healing of hurting people. If you would like to know how you can partner with us in making this a reality then we welcome you to contact us and schedule an appointment. We would be pleased to meet with you and discuss how our combined efforts can produce something larger than we could otherwise accomplish on our own.

What We Believe

We believe in one true God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  These, being one God, are equal in deity, power, and glory. (Ps. 104; 139; Mt. 10:29-31; 28:19; Acts 17:24-28; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 1:9-12; 4:4-6; Col. 1:16-17; Heb. 1:1-3; Rev. 1:4-6)

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. No ordinance, ritual, work, or any other activity on the part of man is required or accepted in order to be saved. This saving grace of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, also sanctifies us by enabling us to do what is pleasing in God's sight in order that we might be progressively conformed to the image of Christ. (Jn. 1:12-13; 6:37-44; 10:25-30; Acts 16:30-31; Rom. 3:1-4:2; 8:1-17, 31-39; 10:8-10; Eph. 2:8-10; Phil. 2:12-13; Titus 3:3-7; 1 Jn. 1:7, 9)

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who indwells, regenerates and equips the Christian for godly living and for service. Subsequent to our conversion, the Spirit desires to fill, empower, and anoint believers for ministry and witness. We also believe that signs and wonders, as well as all the gifts of the Spirit described in the New Testament, are operative today and are designed to testify to the presence of the kingdom and to empower and edify the Church to fulfill its calling and mission. (Mt. 3:11; Jn. 1:12-13; 3:1-15; Acts 4:29-30; Rom. 8:9; 12:3-8; 1 Cor. 12:12-13; 2 Cor. 1:21-22; Gal. 3:1-5; Eph. 1:13-14; 5:18)

We affirm micro-church as the most basic expression of the church. Wherever believers work together in sincere worship and genuine community to accomplish a part of the mission of God - there the church is. Thus, worship, community and mission are the ecclesial minimum. We encourage biblically appointed leadership, sacramental worship, the pursuit of the gifts of the Spirit and giving, but these are desired and not required to be considered a micro church. We believe that these churches also need the larger network, leadership and resources of a city wide church to strengthen, empower and help direct the micro church expression. However, the larger church expression exists to serve the smaller and not the other way around. (Mat 18:20, Luke 10:1 Acts 2:42-47, 4:24, 31, 6: 3-4, 6, 4:23, 16:4-5, 1 Cor 16:19, 1 Tim 3: 2-7, 1 Peter 2:5,9, 2 Cor 5:18-20, Acts 20:20, Rom 15: 5-6 Rom 16:3-5, Col 4:15, Mat 28: 19-20, John 4:23, I Cor 3:16, 1 Cor 14:26, 2 Cor 3:5-6, Eph 2: 22, 4:16, Col 3:16, Heb 6:10-11, 10:24-25, Rev 1:6)

We believe that only the sixty-six books of the Bible are the inspired and, therefore, inerrant Word of God. The Bible is the final authority for all we believe and for how we are to live. As such, we believe the Bible teaches that homosexual conduct opposes God's standards of sexual purity. Sexual immorality is by no means limited to homosexual conduct but consists of any expression of human sexuality outside the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, as well as any expression within marriage that is not self-giving. We graciously uphold these standards of holiness while strongly affirming God's love and redemptive power to recreate the individual who follows him. (Mt. 5:18; Jn. 10:35; 17:17; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21; Gen 1:27, 2:24, 19:4-11; Lev 18:22, 20:13; Rom 1:24-27; 1 Cor 6:9)

We believe in the forgiveness of sin, the resurrection of the body and eternal life. (Lk.14:14; 1 Cor. 15:52; 1 Thes.4:5-18; Rev.11:15, 20:4-5)
