Founder, CEO, and Trustee

Mark Culligan, BA, MM

Having been involved in homosexuality for twenty years has prepared Mark Culligan to offer tremendous insights into the causes and recovery of homosexuality.  He first became aware of homosexual feelings as a teenager in high school.  After twenty years of living as "Mr. Straight" by day and "Mr. Gay" by night, he sought answers for a better way to go. His first solution was getting married. After two failed attempts, he sought professional counsel and began his journey out.  Though the journey out is a major challenge for anyone who chooses to leave homosexuality, the rewards, healthy male relationships and, most importantly, the growing and deepening relationship with Jesus Christ have made the difficult journey extremely satisfying.  A peace has come that passes understanding. His life is an open book.  There are no more secrets.

At an early age Mark's parents recognized a musical gift of singing which allowed him to pursue and successfully complete the Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music at the University of South Florida.  He has been a featured soloist with choirs and orchestras; a Cantor and Church Music Director, an opera singer, and a state certified public school music specialist.

Presently, Mark serves as Founder and CEO of Soli Deo Gloria International, Inc. (SDG). SDG is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, whose mission is "glorifying God by connecting the sexually and relationally challenged to Jesus Christ." SDG's current d/b/a is New Hearts Outreach after Ezekiel 36:26: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you."

Mark's responsibilities include facilitating weekly support group meetings, coordinating the Living WatersProgram (a 30-week discipleship program), involvement with inner-healing prayer ministry, and working with pastors and churches as a resource in the area of sexual brokenness. Special Sunday "Gospel of Jesus Christ Celebration Services" (testimony services) continue to be scheduled in many churches in the Tampa Bay area.  Mark and the New Hearts Leadership Team have appeared as guest speakers in a variety of settings, including college and university classrooms, state Christian student conferences and on many local and national radio and television programs.  He has also served as host of "Light Up Tampa Bay", an hour-long radio show broadcast on Christian radio station WTBN.  New Hearts Outreach received a "2003 High Impact Award" presented by Somebody Cares Tampa Bay. Recently, Mark was invited by PFOX to join a national speaking team.

His life vision is to develop and establish a multi-cultural, interdenominational, residential spiritual renewal center for those in recovery from homosexuality and other life dominating sexual issues.  The development of passionate servant-disciples of Jesus Christ will be the main focus.  SOLI DEO GLORIA! (To God Alone Be The Glory!)

Interim Executive Director, Trustee

Tammi Wilds, BS

Tammi's testimony is very simple. Jesus is her theme song. He is her life. He is her joy. He is the lover of her soul.

She says "I would not be here if it was not for the love of Jesus. I suffered sexual abuse and verbal abuse growing up and struggled with issues of abandonment, self hatred and rejection. Thank God for Jesus, I can come before His throne and receive grace and mercy which is new every day."

Tammi graduated from High School in the top 10 % at Chamberlain High School. She received a BS in Biotechnologyand a minor in Public Health from the University of South Florida. She has received national training in the River, Living Waters and Embracing Life Ministry. She has a Christian Education Certificate from The Urban Alternative, a Tony Evans Church Development Conference in Dallas Texas, after 4 years of taking classes. God has blessed her with many awards and accomplishment but nothing compares to the love of God. God is her credential.

Tammi has been with New Heart's Outreach since the beginning of its establishment. Tammi has taken on different roles with the ministry. She is a part of the choir, been involved with the street ministry, prayer ministry, speaking team, andLW leadership's team. She has coordinated Living Waters 2005-2006, 2006-2007, and 2007-2008 Discipleship Team. She has co-coordinated River/ Overflow Discipleship Team. She oversees "The Looking Unto Jesus" Inner Healing Prayer Center and the women's ministry.

Tammi desires to see the body of Christ be the church that God designed before the beginning of time. She desires to see the youth of the world walk in the Light and not in Darkness. To see them pick up their cross and follow Jesus no matter what the cost. She desires to travel the world and see Isaiah 61 fulfilled, which is her theme Scripture.

More than anything she desires people to know God for themselves and know just how much He loves them. Nothing in this world compares to God and His love. He sticks closer than a brother. He is a father to the fatherless and a mother to the motherless. He is a friend to the friendless. He is I am that I am. Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. There is no other relationship that can fulfill you and complete you and show you just who you are.
